Getting to the BMW Championship

Spectators have several options for transportation to and from Caves Valley Golf Club.

Area Traffic Restrictions

In an effort to ease traffic issues at Caves Valley Golf Club, a portion of Park Heights Avenue will have daily restricted access from 5 a.m.-7 p.m. during championship week. Please note the following restrictions:

  • No through traffic will be permitted on Park Heights Avenue between Walnut Avenue and Caves Road.
  • There is no public/general parking available in the immediate vicinity of Caves Valley Golf Club. All vehicles on Park Heights Avenue must have the proper credentials.

Spectator General Parking

There is no public/general parking available in the immediate vicinity of Caves Valley Golf Club. Spectators will park at Owings Mills Metro Centre and take a short shuttle to the golf course. All vehicles must pay a registration fee in advance to access the lot and be issued a digital pass. Shuttle transportation to the course will be included. Digital passes will be issued in advance only and will not be sold on site at lots.

Register for Parking

Some fans who have purchased hospitality tickets will have access to the H-Lot. The address for the H-Lot is 11634 Park Heights Avenue.

 

Rideshare

As an alternative to parking and shuttling to the championship, spectators can be dropped off and walk into the championship. All drop-offs and pick-ups must take place at our designated drop-off/pick-up location at:

Note that this address is where rideshare drivers will enter the rideshare lot. From there, they will be directed to a drop-off location that is just steps from the championship entrance. The location is ideal for Uber, Lyft, taxi and limo service. Private shuttle services utilizing vehicles larger than an SUV are strictly prohibited and will be denied access at the police checkpoint.

All rideshare drivers must approach via north bound Park Heights Avenue and will pass through a police checkpoint at the Caves Road intersection. Stopping or standing on surrounding roadways is not permitted. There is no parking or staging for vehicles at this location, so please coordinate pick-up times accordingly.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Access

Due to the traffic restrictions on Park Heights Avenue, law enforcement will not allow bicycle or pedestrian access to the championship.

 

BMW Owners’ Parking

BMW Owners have access to complimentary parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking passes are required for this lot and can be acquired through the BMW Owners page.

ADA Placards

All parking lots at the BMW Championship have designated ADA parking spaces available at the front portion of the lots that will afford those guests the most direct access to the shuttle pickup points and the championship entrance.

 

Parking and Shuttle for the Mobility Impaired

Designated parking and shuttle service for wheelchair-bound patrons will be provided. Wheelchairs will not be available for rent on the tournament grounds, but spectators may bring wheelchairs with them to the BMW Championship.
