OWINGS MILLS, Maryland — The 2025 BMW Championship will celebrate Maryland’s strong connection to the military with a special ticket program and tailored experiences for members of the military community throughout championship week at Caves Valley Golf Club on Aug. 12-17.

All active-duty military, retirees, active reserve and veterans of any branch of service are eligible to receive complimentary admission to the championship, Tuesday through Sunday, courtesy of the Western Golf Association (WGA) and proud partners Aggreko and Constellation.

The championship’s week-long celebration of America’s armed forces will include a special opening ceremony on the first tee at 8:55 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, with Owings Mills native Jami Saval performing the national anthem. Saval has also performed the national anthem before Baltimore Ravens and Orioles games.

“Honoring the brave men and women who serve our country is a vital part of the BMW Championship experience,” said Vince Pellegrino, WGA senior vice president of tournaments. “In bringing the championship to the Baltimore area, it has been important to us that we recognize the service members and military families who call this region home.”

With the support of Aggreko and Constellation, spectators with military tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday’s practice rounds will have access to the Champions Club, a climate-controlled lounge featuring complimentary food and drinks with seating overlooking the 14th green. Military tickets can be secured at bmwchampionship.com.

In addition to the national anthem, Thursday’s opening ceremony will include a presentation of colors by members of the Joint Task Force – National Capital Region and The U.S. Army Military District of Washington.

Efforts to celebrate the military community are being supported by Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarship to the spouses and children of U.S. military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and communities.

Spectators will be encouraged to wear red, white and blue on Thursday, Aug. 14, and Folds of Honor ribbons will be distributed to 1,000 volunteers and the first 1,000 patrons entering the championship. In addition, Folds of Honor will award four scholarships to Baltimore-area students in honor of the BMW Championship.
